Whoa...watch out!

So this is what I look like these days. Yikes...I know! It still feels so surreal when I look down at my bulging belly! Sometimes I try to suck it in and it just doesn't go away!

So I guess I'm supposed to be able to feel the baby move at this point but my Dr. said that my placenta is in the front (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but it acts as a barrier and makes it hard to feel the baby moving around. I just don't know...I feel all sorts of movement and weirdness going on around my belly pretty much all the time so I'm having a hard time deciphering which movements are Lily's.

Also, we found out from the ultrasound measurements that Lily is about 6 days bigger than other babys her age...that had me a tad worried...I don't want to deliver a 15 pound baby! But the doctor said that they would pay special attention to it during my next ultrasound (30 weeksish) but I probably won't have a huge baby and that if she is still that big they would probably just move up the due date a week.

So that's the update.

You look really cute pregnant Mikel! Haven't you always loved the name Lily? Like since we were kids? I thought I remembered that, but I could be going nuts. It's very possible. So how's Texas? And did you have a good Christmas?

I know it's been said, but you look way cute! And it's even fun to get 20 times bigger than that (mostly)!

lookin' good blake! i don't know how you'll feel about it, and you'll probably look adorable your whole pregnancy, so take this or leave it, but snap off a ton of pictures now while that little baby bump is just dainty and button-like, cos for me this final month has really been a test of self-esteem. ;)
