Say Cheese!!

Here are baby's first pictures! I went to the doctor last Friday, after the-- throwing up blood--tube down my nose--ER incident, it was so great to finally be able to see my baby (and the reason for all the sickness!) and hear the little heart beat! I needed that reminder of why I'm doing all this! It feels so much more real now and even though I didn't think it was possible...I am sooo much more exited to have this baby join our family!

Wow- how lucky! I didn't get my first ultrasound until I was 19 weeks along! But it really does make a difference in how real the pregnancy feels!

I know what you mean about being worried I'm irrevocably harming my baby with everything I do...or don't do!

I just started throwing up some blood last week so I went to the ER where they did test and told me that it was probably just because my esophagus was so raw from throwing up so much. So they gave me some anti-nausea meds...awesome stuff!

Hey Mikel -

2 days before your anniversary is perfect timing! We're going to be off by a couple months.. oh well. I'm sorry you've been so sick !:o( That doesn't sound very fun. I'm glad they were able to give you some meds though. I love the picture of your little baby. Isn't it so crazy that you have a little person inside of you? Oh yeah, where did you find the little floating baby thing? That thing is neat!

Well, Mike is heading out to Detroit tomorrow for interviews. He's actually just interviewing for internships, but usually how it works is wherever he does his internship - it's highly likely where he'll work. So they've said that it's harder to get internships than it is to get job offers with the companies. Hopefully it works out!

What days are you guys going to be here for the holidays? I want to see you! We're going to Michigan for Thanksgiving and to Colorado for Christmas.. so hopefully we'll overlap eachother somehow!!

Sorry this is a novel! Hope you are feeling great!!

It's a complicated process to change your background. First, you have to download digital scrapbook papers (go to http://www.squidoo.com/digitalscrapbookfreebies# for downloads). Then you have to upload those papers to a Photobucket account, do you know what that is? And THEN you have to edit the HTML on your blog. It's so hard to explain without having someone show you. If you get all the way to downloading the papers on photobucket, and you don't get the HTML thing, go to my blog and go to "View" on the internet toolbar and then "Source". You can see where I've edited my blog to put the papers in. Does that make any sense? I think I'm being confusing...

Your background is so cute! What site did you find those papers on?

Mikel! You're pregnant! How exciting! Congratulations. But the whole nausea thing doesn't sound very fun...especially the throwing up blood part.
