Greece (part 1)

For Christmas this year Dave surprised me with a European vacation...we spent a week in Athens, Greece! We arrived on New Years Eve around noon. We wanted to be awake for the big party that night so we broke the cardinal rule of international travel and we took a nap. We woke up and headed off for some dinner:

We stayed in an amazing hotel right in the main square in Athens where they do their big New Years party. We litterally just walked out the front door and were standing in the fun!

The hotel also has a killer view of the Acropolis

After the New Years fireworks we headed to bed and thus began our epic struggle with jet lag.
