The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak

We're back from our unexpected yet fantastic trip to Paris! My plan is to do a different post for each day that we were there.

The theme for this trip was "my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak!" I had such fantacies...I just wanted to walk all over the whole city all day and night and spend hour upon hour perusing the museums. While I am aware that I am pregnant, I guess I just didn't think for a second that it would hinder my ability to walk all over and be on my feet 12 hours or so solid each day. My feet beg to differ.

So we arrived on Sunday around noon. We checked into our hotel and headed straight for the Eiffel Tour! It was the most beautiful day. The sun was shining, it was perfect weather!

Yeah, we took pictures from just about every possible angle...and there are like 100 more pics I could have put up!

Eventually we were able to tear ourselves away from the Eiffel Tour and decided to head over to the Rodin museum. We didn't really take many pictures here but I really loved Rodin's sculptures.

After that we hit up a pizza joint for dinner and headed back to the hotel and watched french tv to try to stay awake for a few more hours, just long enough to avoid waking up at 3 am.

Good job with the photography!!! It's looks like a blast. I'm glad you got away for a great adventure before your Lilly comes. That will be an even better adventure!
