2008...Here We Come!

I can't believe it's already a new year! But when I look back at 2007 so much has happened! We started that new year in New York, went to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Europe (Mediterranean cruise to Italy and Croatia), Lake Powell, and the Grand Canyon. Dave graduated (and we both walked in graduation even though I really graduated in December 2006). We up and moved away to Dallas to become adults living in the real world. Dave started his REAL job. I've spent the last four months of the year pregnant--although I'm hoping the next 5 are a bit more pleasant! The list could go on! Needless to say it has been a good year for us.

We also started off this year right in the big D. Our flight home from Utah had us arriving at 10:30 pm on New Years Eve. My dad decided to rent a limo of the evening, so he picked us up from the airport in a nice big white one! By the time we got our luggage and made a quick Sonic run we had just enough time to stop in a parking lot to set off some fireworks, which may or may not have been legal, to bring in the new year. We spent the next few hours driving around town singing, dancing, and silly stringing those unfortunate enough to walk by our limo. At about 2:00 we were pretty tuckered out and headed home. While we have a list of ways to make it better for next year it is definately a fun new tradtion!

I'm not going to lie, you both look a little tipsy in that third picture. Are you sure that's ok for the baby?
