I have to admit...Halloween has never been my favorite-favorite holiday and even back when I could dress up and run around begging for candy my costume was so often ruined by the enormous florescent parka my mom made me wear underneath. My Dad on the other hand...takes Halloween very seriously!
Most years for as long as I can remember my dad has taken it upon himself to thoroughly scare all trick-or-treaters who come knocking at his door. The methods have evolved through the years--sound effects, light effects, masks, voice amplifying and altering mics--but the outcome is always the same...lots and lots of terrified children (and sometimes adults)! It's been a few years since I've been around to watch and I had forgotten how unbelievably funny it is! Thanks Dad for an enjoyable last-Halloween-without-my-own-kids-to-scare!

It is wonderful to revive some traditions now that Mikel and Gregory are so close. The Halloween extravaganza is timeless.
